Shipping & Delivery
At Marble For India, we specialize in the safe, secure, and professional delivery of natural stones to clients across India and around the world. Our shipping and delivery policies are aligned with global stone industry logistics practices, ensuring fair timelines, protective packaging, and reliable tracking.
Domestic Shipping (India)
- We ship to all major cities and towns across India via road or rail cargo networks.
- Delivery time typically ranges from 5–10 business days depending on location and volume.
- Clients are notified in advance with tracking details and estimated delivery windows.
- Unloading is the customer’s responsibility unless unloading service is requested in advance.
International Shipping
- We ship to over 40 countries using certified export freight forwarders.
- All international shipments are sent via sea freight (FOB, CIF, or Ex-works as agreed).
- Standard delivery time: 4–8 weeks based on destination, customs clearance, and shipping line availability.
- We provide:
- Commercial invoice
- Packing list
- Certificate of Origin (if required)
- Export documentation as per INCOTERMS
- We do not guarantee port handling or customs clearance speed; this varies by country.
Packing & Safety
- All products are packed using export-quality wooden crates with proper foam or corrugated padding.
- Edge protectors and plastic wrapping ensure no surface scratches or corner damage.
- Heavy items are stacked with proper weight balancing and forklift handling instructions.
Freight Terms & Responsibilities
- We offer flexible freight options: FOB, CIF, DDP (based on agreement).
- Insurance for goods in transit is optional but recommended for international shipments.
- Risk passes to the buyer once goods are handed to the carrier or shipper, as per INCOTERMS.
Delivery Delays
We do our best to ship your order promptly. However, delays may occur due to:
- Port congestion
- Customs clearance
- Force majeure events (e.g., weather, strikes, transport shutdowns)
We are not liable for delivery delays beyond our control, but we provide full support for shipment tracking and coordination.
Customer Duties on Arrival
- Inspect goods upon delivery for any visible damage.
- Report damage within 48 hours along with photos and delivery receipt notes.
- Unloading and on-site handling is the customer's responsibility unless specified otherwise.
Shipping Charges
- Shipping cost depends on destination, quantity, weight, and freight type.
- Final shipping costs are clearly mentioned in the proforma invoice or quotation.
- No hidden charges — all applicable taxes, duties, and port charges are discussed before dispatch.
Packaging Certifications
We follow stone export packaging standards and, where required, use ISPM 15 certified wood crates for international shipping.
